The MARS container series also comprises stacking nestable Euronorm bins and Euronorm crates. Unique to the MARS series is the upper rim, manufactured as a thick, closed hollow section. Through this hollow section rim an extremely stable container is achieved, which moreover is highly suitable for the food sector due to its superb hygienic characteristics. All MARS containers have open handles, smooth side walls and a flat base. They are made of wear-resistant polypropylene. There is black-and-white coding on the long sides as an aid to stacking and nesting. The lids are rigid or foldable. The foldable versions may be laid in the bottom of the container during return transport, whereupon the bins may be nested complete with lid.
