Plastic freezer spacers or freezing mats are used when freezing products. They are used as a liner between the goods to be frozen and the box. Through the structure of the freezer spacers, refrigeration/freezing air can also circulate around the products to be frozen, even when these are stacked. This promotes even cooling down and a rapid freezing process. Which in turn guarantees high product quality of the goods to be frozen. Of course, the sizes of the freezer spacers are tailored to the most common pallet sizes. They are in fact much used in combination with plastic pallets, when a freezing mat is placed between each layer of product. After the freezing process, the freezing mats are usually removed again using a pallet tilter, so that they may be used again for the next run.
